Craft beer in Amersfoort, live from the tap. Our 23 taps pour our own VAT'33 beer next to guest breweries from the Netherlands and abroad, with a bottle and can list alongside. The line-up changes constantly — when it is gone, it is gone. Found something you love? Take it home in a crowler.

How full each keg is
Every glass we pour goes through our till, so the kegs on the right drain live as we pour. Seeing red? Those are the last pours — when it's gone, it's gone. It's an estimate based on what we pour, not a gauge inside the keg.

Crowler: take your beer home
We can fill any beer from the tap into a 50 cl can, filled at the tap and sealed on the spot. Handy when you found something you love, or did not get round to tasting everything.
The price is the 50 cl tap price minus € 2.00. To go only — a crowler is for home, not for our table.

Hoptimaal is on your menu.
Hoptimaal is right next door. Everything in its fridges and the big beers can be enjoyed at your table: over 370 beers, from hazy IPA to barrel-aged stout. You see the price, style and flavour up front. Just tell your server and we will fetch it for you.
Good to know before you order
Fridge beers: usually cold
IPAs and sours come from the Hoptimaal fridges. They are nearly always cold, but we can't guarantee it: sometimes a bottle hasn't made it into the fridge yet.
Big beers: not chilled, on purpose
Stouts, barleywines and other big beers are kept at room temperature. That is how they taste best. Prefer it cold? Just say so, we'll chill it and you can enjoy it a little later.
Sometimes a beer has run out
We pull in Hoptimaal's live stock. It can contain the odd mistake, so now and then a beer turns out to be gone.
